  I have been a Fred's customer for years, overall the prices are very reasonable. recently, my local Fred's in Poplar Bluff, MO, has been very disappointing. I usually purchase the Fred's brand cold and flu medicine, but have not been able to get it because they have run out, and for no apparent reason just will not order more. It is several dollars cheaper than Nyquil and even a dollar cheaper than the Dollar General Store brand. Fred's is just more convenient to my apartment. I have been forced to take my business elsewhere simply because they will make no attempt to order more. The end of last week the cashier told me the truck would be in Wednesday and Today is Wednesday and guess what was not on the truck. When I went in last week, the big box, at least 18 inches in length, was empty. I moved the box from the bottom shelf onto the top to check behind it. The huge box sat on the top shelf 3 entire days before they moved it. Yes, I checked on the medicine for three days before asking about it because the employees are not extremely friendly nor accessible.. I was given false hopes once I had asked. The Poplar Bluff store, and employees are a disappointment. Luckily, there is a Dollar General Store only minutes away.Due to poor organization and proper ordering skills, I am severing my long term relationship with the Poplar Bluff Store.
